Many professionals – whether they work for an employer or for themselves – are finding that there are too many projects to do and not enough time to complete them all. Feeling the time crunch and not accomplishing everything that you want to leads to working longer hours, working weekends, and skipping lunch breaks. This in turn leads to stress, anxiety, fatigue, and decreased productivity at the office.
There are, however, things you can do to be smart with your time and to take control of your schedule, so that you can create more productive and efficient workdays. Find out my 5 tips in this video:

We definitely need to be smart with our time to be efficient and prevent overwhelm and/or burnout. I have to careful about email distractions. I try to check every 2 hours so that I can complete activities.
Hi Carol, good on you for not checking your email constantly – it is so easy to get distracted. Same goes for social media activities:-)

In my opinion, and agreeing with what you mentioned on your video,
I suggest if possible, people can use the Pomodoro Time Management.
Establish for example a routine, work on a task for about 25 to 40 minutes and take a quick break (5 to 10 minutes),
I uses and was recommended by a friend and it does work well.
Granted, sometimes, it is unavoidable to stay longer working on that task, but still, it does work effectively.
There are a lot of technics and we just need to find the one that does work best for us.
Great tips Margaret. I love having a to do list!
Wonderful and useful tips, Margaret! You make it sound so simple! Thank you!
